Anchoring 4 Life Inc., was established by two passionate female anglers, Marlen and Marlene, whose admiration and love for fishing were once united on a fishing trip. Growing up, both girls spent more time making memories at sea with their fathers than in their own homes. Unfortunately, at the age of 69, Marlen's dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Marlen's mother, was his caretaker for many years, and they both dealt with the struggle of paying out of pocket expenses of dietary supplements and personal hygiene supplies that insurance carriers didn't pay. A few years later, Marlen's father passed away and she decided to open a fishing apparel company that displayed all the fun, adventurous, memories, she had with her father while fishing. Each shirt design, reveals her wonderful memories of fish caught and offshore experiences with her father. Today, Anchoring 4 Life, gives back to families whose loved one's are suffering from Alzheimer's disease. They provide them with personal hygiene items and dietary supplements, at no cost, with the help of each shirt sold. They are committed to helping the most fragile members of our community.
